Fish Report

GREAT FISHING TODAY! Sunday 5-11-2008

So far, only Rocky Jr. has checked in. He left at 6:00am with a private charter. Lots of haddock and some cod. Alot of people on board with 15 or more of legal fish. Some nice cod, but clams brought the haddock to the fillet bags today. Capt Cory is out. His phone has been working pretty bad, so if I hear from him, we will put his report on. NO TRIP TOMORROW! — Capt. Rocky Gauron

FISHING FINALLY GREAT! Saturday 5-10-2008

Over the past 3 or 4 days fishing has started to get a lot better. Wed. marathon trip was pretty good. Mostly cod in good numbers. Yesterday, Junior was out with a private charter and they had a great day. Lots of cod, with a couple fish just over 20 pounds to make it even better. No trips Sat. because ofrough weather forecast. We will see how it looks after today. — Capt. Rocky Gauron

PICKY! PICKY! Tuesday 5-6-2008

Capt. Cory had the trip today. Slow pick everywhere they went. No spot really turned up the action. Nice haddock and cod, but more numbers were needed. — Capt. Rocky Gauron

ROUGH WEATHER! NOT GREAT FISHING! Sunday 5-4-2008

Another rough weather day. High seas, cold rain and wind made it a tough day to be out there. The managed some cod, cusk and redfish, but no where near enough to make it a great day. It was a miserable, miserable day. Not sailing tomorrow. — Capt. Rocky Gauron

HADDOCK TODAY! AND COD! Saturday 5-3-2008

We got 3 boats out. So far Cory on the Starfish is the only report. They had a pretty fair day on haddock. Slow to steady on the action. Over 100 haddock on board with some cod too.

Junior had a good day cod fishing. Good numbers on board. A couple up around 15 pounds. A few haddock too! — Capt. Rocky Gauron

SLOW PICK TO GREAT! Friday 5-2-2008

No matter where you went, same story. Slow pick. Haddock were whoppers, but it was a while between fish coming over the rail. I haven't heard from Capt Cory yet. Today was his fish trip since returning from Winter fishing in Key WEst!

We have plenty of room for walk-ins tomorrow. I finally heard from Capt. Cory. They had a great day haddock fishing. Good numbers were brought aboard. Bout time! — Capt. Rocky Gauron
